If your water isn't working in Wallaceburg, officials at Entegrus are aware of the issue and they are hoping to have that resolved Wednesday afternoon.
The local utility provider said the water is off because of a main break in the water distribution system.
The estimated time of repair was about four hours and the notice was sent out just before 11 a.m. Wednesday morning.
A boil water advisory was also issued over the noon-hour Wednesday for everyone on the municipal water supply in Wallaceburg. Chatham-Kent's Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Colby was advising residents to bring their water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for domestic purposes like drinking, making infant formula or juice, brushing your teeth, washing raw foods, and making ice.
The advisory was set to stay in place until the public health unit receives good results from two consecutive sets of samples taken a minimum of 24 hours apart.

Students at Wallaceburg District Secondary School, A. A. Wright Public School, and H.W. Burgess Public School were all dismissed early because of the water outage and the schools were notifying parents and guardians to make sure students were safely taken home.
All of those schools were expected to reopen on Thursday as usual.
The St. Clair Catholic District School Board also sent out a notice just before noon Wednesday, advising parents and guardians of students at Holy Family, Christ The King and St. Elizabeth Catholic schools to pick up their children at the earliest opportunity.
Students who are still at school will be dismissed at the usual time and bus students will be sent home as usual at the end of the day.
School board officials said they were providing bottled water to students as needed, but there is no ability to flush the washroom toilets because of the water outage.
