Two suspects sought following break-in in Wallaceburg 

Police in Chatham-Kent are looking to track down two suspects following a break-in in Wallaceburg.

Officers were called to a home on Duncan Street around 8 p.m. Saturday after two suspects kicked down the front door, only to be confronted by the residents who were home at the time.

Police said the suspects were last seen running away in the area of Elgin Street.

Police investigate break-in in Blenheim 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after a business in Blenheim was broken into Saturday evening.

Police were called to the business on Marlborough Street just after 11 p.m. to find that someone had entered through a window.

Officers said the alarm to the business scared off the suspects.

It is believed that there was nothing stolen.

Chatham man arrested for public intoxication, causing a disturbance 

A 28-year-old man spent some time sobering up in police custody after causing a scene inside a Chatham hotel.

Police said they responded to the report around 9 p.m. Saturday and learned that after the man was not allowed to enter a nearby bar, he returned to the hotel causing a disturbance with other hotel guests.

The man was arrested and taken into custody where he was held until he was sober.

The 28-year-old was charged with public intoxication.
