CK police, Lambton OPP team up for drug and firearms bust

A 39-year-old Camden Township man is facing multiple drug and firearm-related charges after police executed a search warrant at a residence in the Dresden area.

Chatham-Kent police said members of their Intelligence Section and the Lambton County OPP Street Crimes Unit teamed up for the investigation on Thursday.

Police said during a "systematic search" of the residence and the property, they found:

- two semi-automatic shotguns

- one .308 calibre rifle

- 114 grams of cocaine

- 128.8 grams of fentanyl

- over 512 grams of methamphetamine

Officers said the drugs that were seized have an estimated street value of $93,000.

Police also allegedly seized some ammunition, a cell phone, a debt list, and a large quantity of Canadian currency.

The man they arrested in connection with the case was charged and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
