Wanted man turns himself in

A 32-year-old Dover Township man who was wanted for failing to comply with his release order has been arrested after he turned himself in.

Police said their investigation started on August 12 after they learned that the man had allegedly breached one of his release conditions by contacting and being in close proximity of a person who he was supposed to stay away from.

At that time, officers issued a warrant for his arrest.

He turned himself in two days later — on August 14 — and was charged with two counts of failing to comply. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
