Several people arrested on outstanding warrants
On Friday, Chatham-Kent police arrested a 42-year-old man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for public mischief.
Police said the man was also wanted by police in Brantford for failing to comply with a release order.
The man was held in custody until he was taken back to Brantford.

Around the same time Friday, a 51-year-old man turned himself in to police on a warrant for failing to comply.
He was arrested and released with a future court date.

Later Friday night, a 25-year-old man was arrested by the Canada Border Services Agency on an outstanding warrant by Chatham-Kent police for failing to attend court.
The man was transported back to police headquarters in Chatham and was held pending a bail hearing.

Suspicious person call leads to mischief charge
On Friday night, Chatham-Kent police were called about a suspicious man running out of a house on Grand Avenue West wearing no shoes.
Police said once they arrived the man continued to run and then jumped onto a yard shed and damaged it.
The 24-year-old man was arrested for mischief as well as two outstanding bench warrants.
He was released with a future court date.
