Assaults

A 34-year-old London man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault after his girlfriend reported being pushed to the ground and choked in Blenheim.

Police in Chatham-Kent said the incident happened on Tuesday morning in the area of Catherine Street.

Police also charged a 53-year-old man from Chatham Tuesday night following an alleged assault on an intimate partner.

Investigators said he was charged with two counts of assault, uttering threats and mischief under $5,000. No other information was available.

Drug Bust

A drug bust in Wallaceburg has landed a 37-year-old man from Wallaceburg in handcuffs.

Police said officers searched a home on Lafontaine Street in Wallaceburg late Tuesday night, arrested the suspect, and charged him with possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest

Chatham-Kent police continue wrangling suspects wanted on outstanding warrants.

Officers found a 37-year-old Blenheim man in the area of Snow Avenue on Tuesday afternoon and arrested him.

Police said the man was wanted on multiple warrants, including charges of possession of stolen property above $5,000 and assault.

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Charges have been laid against a 31-year-old Chatham man after police found two stolen All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs).

The suspect is facing two counts of property obtained by crime after he was allegedly found to be in possession of the ATVs on Tuesday.

He also faces charges for allegedly breaching his court conditions when he was previously released.
