100 Women Who Care helping out Outreach for Hunger

A local food bank is the latest recipient of a donation from 100 Women Who Care Chatham-Kent.

The group presented a cheque to Outreach for Hunger for $11,025.

"Outreach for Hunger is thrilled to be selected by 100 Women Who Care to receive this donation," said Executive Director Brenda LeClair. "The support given will provide many nutritious meals to families who struggle daily. Together we can make a difference".

100 Women Who Care Chatham-Kent meets four times a year to pick an organization to donate collectively to.

Since the women's group started in Chatham-Kent in 2016, more than $250,000 has been donated to 22 charitable groups.

Their next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25 from 6-7 p.m. at the Retro Suites Hotel. New members are welcome.
