Man arrested after allegedly threatening neighbour with a gun 

A 51-year-old Chatham man is facing several weapon charges after allegedly threatening his neighbour with gun.

Police said a man went to his neighbour's house just before 10 a.m. Saturday, believing the neighbour had something of his that was recently stolen.

Officers said as the man confronted the neighbour about the stolen property, the neighbour pulled out a gun and threatened him.

Police set up a perimeter around the residence and arrested the neighbour. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

There are no other suspects or safety concerns to the public.

Police investigate break and enter in Wallaceburg. 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating an early morning break and enter at Rona in Wallaceburg.

Police responded to an alarm call at the store and found the front glass door has been smashed.

Officers search the building but no one was found inside, but a variety of tools were reported stolen.
