Environment Canada has ended a freezing rain warning for parts of southwestern Ontario.
The warning, issued Saturday night, has ended for Sarnia-Lambton, London-Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor-Essex. Areas including Grey-Bruce, and Huron-Perth remain under a freezing rain warning.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures causes an icy build-up on roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces.
Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth also have a snow squall watch in effect, starting Sunday evening.
