Two men known to police arrested on outstanding warrants

A 46-year-old Chatham man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after an officer on general patrol located him in the area of King and Fifth Street Saturday afternoon.

He was later released with a future court date.

A 17-year-old Chatham man was arrested after an officer on patrol in Chatham located him in the area of Witherspoon Street early Sunday morning.

Police said the man was known to be wanted for an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was arrested and later released with a future court date.

White Mazda stolen from residence in Dresden 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public to help locate a 2018 White Mazda CX5 that was stolen from a residence on Stephen Line in Dresden.

The license plate is BYAK702.

Police said the vehicle is also believed to have been involved in a break and enter at a business on Community Road in Dresden early Saturday morning.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Police respond to break and enter at a business in Dresden 

Chatham-Kent police were called to a break and enter at a business on Community in Dresden on Saturday.

Police said it is unknown at this time if anything was taken. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
