Two men arrested on warrants
Chatham-Kent police have crossed a pair of names off their wanted list.
On Tuesday, officers located a 41-year-old Chatham man at a location on Selkirk Street in Chatham. According to police, he was on court order not to attend the address where he was found. As a result, he was arrested and charged for breaching his probation order.
Police later learned that the man was wanted by both Chatham-Kent Police and Windsor police. He was transported to Chatham-Kent police headquarters and a message was sent to Windsor police to notify them that he was in custody.
While investigating the incident, officers also located a 27-year-old Chatham man who was known to be wanted by police. He was arrested and released with a future court date.
Copper pipe stolen in Chatham
Police are investigating after a shed was broken into in Chatham.
Officers said unknown suspects entered the shed sometime Tuesday afternoon and stole $50 worth of copper pipe.
