Police make several arrests on outstanding warrants 

Police were called to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for a report of an unwanted person. Officers said a 38-year-old woman was removed from the property and arrested on an outstanding warrant. She is currently in custody pending a bail hearing.

A vehicle stop on Communication Road revealed that a female inside the vehicle had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. The woman was arrested and later released with a future court date on January 11, 2022.

Police say they responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Bloomfield Road. Officers learned that a man at the residence had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was arrested and later released with a future court date on January 12, 2022.

On Saturday, an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg observed a male on Wallace Street who was wanted for multiple breaches of his legal conditions. He was arrested and later charged with a future court date on January 18, 2022.

Police responded to a residence on Michener Road in Chatham after reports of a person having a medical crisis. After being medically assessed, police say a 36-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant for theft and possession under $5,000. He was released with a future court date on January 12, 2022.

Police say they were called to an address on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg for a report of a suspicious person. Officers located a female in the area and a record check revealed that she was wanted for failing to attend court. The woman was arrested and later released with a future court date.

BMX bike stolen from home in Tilbury 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public to help locate a BMX Bike that was stolen from a locked shed from a home on Pearl Street in Tilbury. The bike is valued at $600.

Tools stolen from Blenheim home 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for information regarding a break and enter at an address on Harwich Road in Blenheim. Officers say $1,500 worth of tools were stolen from a garage Saturday morning.

Tools stolen from Chatham Business 

Police responded to an alarm call Sunday morning at an address on Dover Street in Chatham.

Officer say the front door window had been smashed out and multiple hand tools were stolen. Police located the tools stashed nearby and were returned to the owner.

Theft in Wallaceburg leads to charges 

Chatham-Kent police were called to a business on James Street in Wallaceburg after reports of a shoplifting incident.

Police said the suspect attempted to steal several items and when confronted by store staff, he allegedly assault them while trying to leave. The male was arrested and taken into custody. He was charged with theft and possession under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and assault and resisting arrest. He was taken to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
