Police said the man who was found had a previous outstanding warrant.

He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Police arrest man in possession of stolen tools

Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged a man after he was stopped while breaching his curfew on Spencer Avenue in Chatham

Police said the man was found with break and enter tools in his possession while being arrested.

He was charged with breach of undertaking and possession of break and enter tools.

He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

First snowfall results in several accidents across Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent police responded to eight motor vehicle crashes on Saturday during the first snowfall of the season.

Police said majority of the crashes were caused by drivers who lost control of their vehicles.

The community is being reminded with the change in weather to slow down and be aware of areas that might ice up.
