Police investigate break and enter in Dresden 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break and enter in the Dresden area.

Police say a residence under construction on Dawn Mills Road was broken into sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, in which approximately $3,000 worth of tools were stolen.

Family dispute in Wallaceburg leads to assault charges 

A 21-year-old Wallaceburg woman is facing assault charges after a verbal dispute with her mother took a physical turn, early Saturday morning.

Police say they were called to the residence on Dundas Street in Wallaceburg and learned that the daughter had struck her mother across the face.

She was charged with assault and released with conditions pending a future court date on December 15.

Wallaceburg man arrested for sexual assault 

A 36-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing sex-related charges.

Police say the man was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

He was released with a future court date.

Police make several arrests on outstanding warrants 

Police say they were called to the area of Harvey Street and Lacroix Saturday morning for a report of a suspicious male.

Officers located the male, who was wanted for four counts of fraud under $5,000, and arrested him.

He was later released with conditions pending a future court date on November 5.

Chatham-Kent police located two Chatham men, aged 47 and 51, who were both known to be wanted by police, in the area of Gray Street.

The 47-year-old man was arrested for failing to comply with a probation order warrant and released with a court date. The 51-year-old man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order and released with a future court date on December 12.

A 36-year-old Blenheim man, who was also known to be wanted to police, was spotted in the area of Third Street.  He was arrested for failure to comply and an assault warrant. He was released with a court date.
