It’s going to be a wet evening for parts of Southwestern Ontario.

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

The weather agency said heavy rain is expected to move into the region Sunday afternoon and last until Monday.

By the time it is finished, some areas could see up to 60mm of rain.

“This rainfall is due to a low-pressure system that is forecast to track northeast across southern Ontario on Monday,” said Environment Canada.

Forecasters said flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
