Woman arrested while drunk in public 

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested for being drunk in public at a residence in Wallaceburg.

Police say they responded to a family dispute at a residence on Dundas Street.

The woman involved in the dispute was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself outside of the residence.

Police transported the woman to police headquarters for booking and was held unit sober.

Police make arrests on outstanding warrants 

A 32-year-old man wanted by Chatham-Kent police for several charges was arrested by Walpole police Saturday morning.

Police said the man had an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000, two counts of possession under $5,000, and two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon. T

The man was turned over to the Chatham-Kent Police Service and was later released with a future court date.

A 37-year-old man who was also wanted by police was arrested in the area of Murray Street in Chatham.

Police said the man had an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000.

The man was arrested and late released with a future court date.

2005 Green Can-Am Bombardier 650 ATV stolen from residence in Wallaceburg 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public to help locate a 2005 Green Can-Am Bombardier 650 ATV that was stolen from a residence on McCreary Line in Wallaceburg.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
