Tilbury native Brett Brochu is having a notable start to the season with the London Knights.
The 19-year-old netminder has been named the OHL Goaltender of the Week after three straight wins, a 2.55 goals-against average, and a .923 save percentage.
Brochu turned aside 35 of the 38 shots he faced during a 4-3 Thanksgiving Monday shootout win over the Spitfires, stopping seven of eight shootout attempts.
He was also up to the task Friday when the Knights hosted the Spitfires, making 32 saves during a 5-1 win. On Sunday, Brochu wrapped up the weekend making 29 saves in a 5-4 overtime win over the Sarnia Sting.
Brochu currently ranks fifth among goaltenders in the league.
