Industrial accident under investigation 

An employee at a Sass Road business in Chatham was taken to hospital after an industrial accident.

Police say the worker reportedly suffered injuries to their hand, causing them to pass out.

The employee was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Ministry of Labour was contacted to investigate the incident.

Man arrested in Wallaceburg on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent police located a man on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and found him to have a warrant for previous theft and possession charges.

He was released with a court date.

Man located in field following argument

A man exited a vehicle on Longwoods Road after getting involved in an argument

According to police, the man reportedly ran into a field and police were contacted over concern for the man's safety. Police followed footprints and heard the man yelling.

He was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

Family members attended headquarters and picked up the man. He was charged under the Provincial Offences Act with public intoxication.
