Woman arrested for public intoxication 

Police say they were called Tuesday to a residence on Base Line in Wallaceburg for a family dispute.

When police arrived, a 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman was found to be intoxicated to the point that she could not care for herself.

The woman was arrested and charged for public intoxication.  She was released from police custody when she was sober.

Continued traffic enforcement in Chatham-Kent 

Four motorists were charged with Highway Traffic Act infractions Tuesday as members of the Chatham-Kent police traffic unit and officers on general patrol conducted traffic enforcement throughout the community.

Police are reminding drivers that enforcement initiatives will continue in an effort to keep all road users safe.
