London man charged after woman harrassed in Orford Township 

A 33-year-old man is facing a criminal harassment charge after allegedly lurking around a woman's home in Orford Township.

Chatham-Kent police say the woman first reported the incident on July 29 after she found an old high school acquaintance from London sitting near her garage.

According to the report, the woman chased the man off her property and hadn't seen him until Wednesday, when the woman woke up to find the man sitting on her deck.

Police say officers located the man and placed him under arrest. The man was later released pending a future court date on September 8.

Man charged after failing to comply with conditions 

Chatham-Kent police arrested and charged a 23-year-old man for failing to comply with one of his conditions.

According to police, the man was released from custody on May 31 with several conditions, one of them prohibiting him to attend a specific family member’s home in Chatham.

Police say the man was found in the driveway on Wednesday where he was arrested and charged with failing to comply.

He was released pending a future court date on August 20.

Traffic stop leads to charges 

Police say a member of the traffic unit stopped a vehicle travelling on Lacroix Street for driving with unregistered license plates.

As a result, a 57-year-old man has been charged with use plates not authorized, failing to produce a license, failing to produce registration for the vehicle and failing to produce insurance.

Officers seized the license plates and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
