Two Toronto residents have been arrested after a traffic stop in Blenheim led to drug trafficking charges.
Chatham-Kent police said the investigation started when an officer on general patrol stopped a vehicle on Talbot Street West Wednesday afternoon.
Police said they ended up seizing over $83,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine from the vehicle. Officers also seized some digital scales, some packaging material, and a large amount of Canadian currency.
A 17-year-old youth from Toronto and a 20-year-old man from Toronto were both arrested and charged with three counts each of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They were both taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
