Police find fentanyl, meth, and firearms in bust on Bloomfield Road

Several people are facing drug trafficking and firearm charges after Chatham-Kent police seized around $25,000 worth of drugs during a search of a residence on Bloomfield Road in Chatham.

Officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section and Critical Incident Response Team executed a warrant at the residence on Wednesday night.

According to police, approximately $25,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine was seized. Four firearms and a large quantity of Canadian and American cash was also seized.

Five people were arrested and charged as a result.

Chatham residents Ryan Muller, 39, and Erica Muller, 37, were each charged with four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of failing to comply with release conditions and three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Thirty-five-year-old Robyn Marchand, also of Chatham, was charged with four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, 10 counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited, three counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking and one count of failing to comply with release conditions.

All three individuals have been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Helder Daroche, a 34-year-old from Mississauga, and Ismael Mederios, a 39-year-old from Brampton, were both charged with four counts each of unauthorized possession of a firearm and three counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both men were released with future court dates.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
