Chatham-Kent launches online COVID-19 vaccine registration

Local residents looking to book their COVID-19 vaccination now have another option.

Chatham-Kent Public Health just launched an online booking portal at www.GetYourShotCK.ca.

The website will allow people to register multiple family members who are eligible, and choose from a variety of dates, times, and locations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To book a vaccination appointment, residents should confirm they meet the current eligibility requirements, then create an online account. Residents who use the system to book municipal recreation programming should already have an account. CK Public Health expanded the vaccine eligibility on Wednesday to include residents who are 60 years of age and older.

An instructional video on how to book and appointment is available.

Appointments can still be made over the phone by calling 519-351-1010 and leaving a message.

Chatham-Kent Public Health is also adding two appointment-only mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Wheatley and Highgate.

The one at the Wheatley Arena will be a drive-thru clinic, with an option for those without a vehicle, on Thursday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The clinic in Highgate will take place at the Mary Webb Centre on Saturday, April 17 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Residents can register for an appointment at those clinics through www.GetYourShotCK.ca.
