Bail violation leads to arrest 

A 24-year-old man will have to answer to charges after police got a call about a suspicious vehicle in Blenheim.

On Friday morning, officers responded to a complaint on Flemingo Street about the suspicious vehicle. Police located a Blenheim man who was under court orders to obey a curfew and not to possess any controlled substances.

The man was arrested for breaching his curfew. While searching him, police found him in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, he was arrested, taken to police headquarters and held in custody for bail.

Intoxication arrest in Tilbury

A 45-year-old had to spend some time with police after getting arrested in Tilbury for being intoxicated.

On Saturday evening, officers went to an address on Mill Street in response to an intoxicated woman.

The Tilbury woman was located and charged for being intoxicated in public. Since she was unable to care for herself, she was transported to police headquarters and released once sober.
