Woman found hiding in boyfriend's bedroom

A 25-year-old Chatham woman is in more trouble with the law after police found her hiding in her boyfriend's bedroom -- even though she wasn't supposed to be communicating with him.

Police said they were called to the residence in the area of Harvey Street to investigate a domestic disturbance at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officers said they learned that the woman was at her boyfriend's residence even though she had been ordered by the court to stop communicating with him, so when police found her hiding in his bedroom, they arrested her.

The accused was charged with breaching multiple court conditions and was taken back to police headquarters where she was set to be held pending a bail hearing.
