Man arrested after police find him urinating inside a local bank

A 46-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged after police found him peeing inside the vestibule of the CIBC Bank on King Street in Chatham.

Police said they made the arrest Wednesday morning, adding that further investigation showed that the man had previously been banned from attending the CIBC bank. Officers said they also found several lighters on him, which is a violation of another court order that he was not supposed to possess any incendiary devices.

As a result, the accused was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions along with one count each of committing an indecent act and mischief. He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
