Neighbour dispute leads to assault charges

A man is facing charges after a dispute in Chatham.

Police responded to the neighbour dispute on Baxter street regarding a fence.

Through investigation, it was found that a man had allegedly assaulted his neighbour and caused damage to property.

He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent police headquarters and eventually released with a future court date for assault and mischief.

Break and entrer in Blenheim 

Police are investigating after a break and enter in Blenheim.

Sometime overnight, suspects cut the fence to an enclosed property on Allison line.

The suspects entered several storage units and fled. It's unknown what may have been taken.

Man arrested for theft

A man has a future court date after allegedly shoplifting in Chatham while police were nearby.

Officers were at a business on Pioneer Line to investigate a shoplifting incident that took place earlier in the day. While on the scene, a man was seen stealing a product from the store.

He was placed under arrest and eventually released with a court date in January.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Police were able to locate a man in Chatham who had a warrant out for his arrest.

The man was on conditions for a previous release. He allegedly breached these conditions and a warrant was put out for his arrest.

The man was located at an address on Park Lane. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters and held for bail.
