Ridgetown homeowner loses hockey memorabilia, truck in two separate thefts

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a homeowner on Albert Avenue in Ridgetown was targeted by thieves twice in two days.

Police said the first incident took place sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators said someone forced their way into the residence and stole five totes containing commemorative hockey jerseys along with a Mats Sundin signed print and a Sidney Crosby signed print.

The total value of that theft is estimated at $6,800.

Police said a day later, Thursday night, someone stole the homeowner's blue 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck. It was last seen with Ontario license plates 269 3NK.
