Address change leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent police said they attended the man's last known address Sunday morning to check up on him and learned that he had allegedly moved out a week earlier without notifying police -- that violated one of his release conditions.

Officers said later Sunday afternoon they saw the man walking on Richmond Street in Chatham, so they arrested him.

The accused, a 41-year-old man of no fixed address, was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions. He was also later released with a future court date.
