Woman charged with trespassing

Reports about someone trespassing on residential property has led to a Chatham woman getting in trouble with the law.

Police received the calls early Saturday morning. Officers were able to attend the area and locate the suspect.

The 36-year-old was arrested for trespass by night. According to police, she was also intoxicated at the time.

She was held in custody until sober and released with a future court date.

Windsor police arrest man on CK warrant

Police in Windsor were able to nab a man who was wanted in Chatham-Kent.

It started back in April when the 35-year-old was charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and theft of a motor vehicle.

The man fled Chatham-Kent before police had a chance to arrest him and a warrant was issued.

Early Saturday morning, he was located by officers in Windsor. He was released from custody with a future court date.

Man arrested after disobeying conditions 

A Chatham man spent some time with police after getting caught going against his conditions three days after he was released.

The 30-year-old was released from custody on Tuesday with several conditions including to obey a daily curfew.

On Friday, police went to the man's residence and discovered that he was breaching his conditions by not being home.

He was located early Saturday morning, was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

911 call leads to arrest on warrant

On Friday afternoon while police were responding to a 911 hang-up call, officers located a 41-year-old man.

He was wanted on a surety relief warrant and was arrested. He was transported to the South West Detention Centre, where he remains in custody.
