Woman bites officer during arrest
A 56-year-old Chatham woman is facing charges after she allegedly resisted arrest by biting an officer's finger.
Police were called to a residence where the 56-year-old was allegedly found breaking a condition to not associate with a specific person.
It's alleged that she bit the arresting offer, kicked in his direction, and tried to grab his taser.
Police said she was charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, and failure to comply with a release order. The 56-year-old has a future court date set for October 7.

Man faces 15 charges after domestic dispute
A 31-year-old man is facing several assault-related charges following an argument with his ex about furniture.
Chatham-Kent police said the incident happened on Monday night around 9:45 p.m.
The 31-year-old allegedly prevented his former partner from leaving. She was eventually able to get to her vehicle, at which point police said the man stopped her from closing the door and broke the key in the ignition. After taking some of her property, he returned to the residence.
The 31-year-old was arrested and charged with four counts of assault, three counts of forcible confinement, four counts of failing to comply with a release order, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession under $5,000, and resisting a peace officer.

Youth member arrested
A male youth is accused of breaching one of his conditions.
Police said the youth was ordered not to communicate with a specific person by any means. He allegedly tried to reach her by telephone on August 3.
The youth member was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
