Break and Enter in Chatham

A Chatham home has lost its Alexa smart device after a break and enter.

Chatham-Kent police said sometime between Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. someone forced their way into a home on Victoria Avenue and stole a black generation 3 Alexa device.

Cyclists Struck in Wallaceburg

Two teen cyclists are recovering after being hit by a vehicle in Wallaceburg.

Police said they were struck while riding their bikes through a parking lot along McNaughton Avenue Sunday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. but only suffered minor injuries. Police believe the vehicle involved was a silver Ford Fusion.

Man Charged with Careless Driving

A 61-year-old Chatham man has been charged with careless driving after striking a parked car in Chatham.

Police said officers responded to a collision on Edgar Street Sunday night. Damage is pegged at $8,000.

No one was injured.

Stolen Trailer in Chatham Township

Police are looking for a white Dodge Ram pickup truck after a trailer was stolen in Chatham Township.

Officers said the trailer was taken from a business on Prince Albert Road around 7:15 a.m. on Sunday. The $1,700 trailer was last seen with Ontario license plate D7365V.
