Man charged with sex-related offences

A 21-year-old man is facing five charges related to sexual offences.

On Friday afternoon police responded to a residence on Fraser Street in Wallaceburg in hopes of locating the man.

Officers were able to find the man and arrested him on two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

He was transported to CK police headquarters and eventually released with a future court date.

Intoxication arrests 

Police had to arrest two people so far this weekend who had a little too  much to drink.

On Friday afternoon, officers responded to a residence on Queen Street in Tilbury after getting a complaint about an unwanted man.

When police arrived, they located a man who was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 34-year-old was arrested, transported to the police station and held until sober.

Then early Saturday morning, officers responded to a residence on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg for an intoxicated man causing a disturbance.

Police determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself and as a result, the 30-year-old was arrested and held in police custody until sober.

Bail violations

A man has a future court date after getting arrested in Wallaceburg on Friday night.

Officers responded to a residence on Fraser Street after getting reports that there was a man there who was breaching his conditions.

Police attended the scene and located the man who was on conditions to not attend the residence he was at.

Through investigation police also determined that the man had made attempts to communicate with a party who he was on conditions not to contact or communicate with.

As a result, a 21-year-old was arrested for two counts of failing to comply with undertaking.

He was given a future court date and released from custody.
