Pair of break and enters 

Two break and enters in Chatham-Kent have left police looking for tips.

Sometime between July 9 and July 10, an unknown person entered a shed on Victoria Road in Ridgetown by removing a window.

Once inside, the suspect stole alcohol and a rechargeable flashlight.

Also on July 10, sometime between midnight and 7:30 a.m., an unknown person entered a shed on Florence Road in Thamesville.

Once inside they removed a 2013 500CC HISU side by side.  The vehicle is blue in colour and was last seen with Ontario marker 65FW5, valued at $10,000.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police.

Two people arrested on bail violations

Police were able to arrest two people who allegedly breached their bail violations.

Early Saturday morning in Ridgetown, around 3:45 a.m., police saw a vehicle leave an establishment with people known to have a curfew.

The vehicle was stopped and it was revealed that a man and woman were in the car who both had previously been released from court with curfews.

The man and woman were arrested for failing to comply with release orders.

They were both taken to the police station and eventually released with a future court date.

Also on Saturday, police responded to reports of a disturbance in Tilbury.

Upon arrival, a man was found hiding in a closet.

He was on conditions not to be there and to not communicate with the woman at the residence.

He was arrested for failing to comply with his release order. It was also discovered that the suspect was wanted on a warrant for the exact same offence.

The man was transported to police headquarters and held for bail.

Man busted on warrant 

Officers in Chatham were able to nab a man who was wanted on a warrant for multiple offences.

On Saturday, police were attending an unrelated call when they observed a Chatham man who was believed to have a warrant for two counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.

The warrant was confirmed and the man was arrested, taken to the police station and held for bail.

While arresting him, officers also allegedly found a small amount of crystal in his possession and he was charged accordingly.
