Man charged with uttering threats during dispute

A 38-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly uttered threats.

It started Monday night when police were dispatched to a dispute between neighbours on Brentwood Drive in Thamesville.

Through investigation, a man was arrested and charged with uttering threats. According to police, he was also allegedly breaching his release order.

The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police make three arrests on outstanding warrants 

Police were able to nab a trio of people who were on their wanted list.

On Monday afternoon, an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a man in the area of Paxton Drive who was known to be wanted for dangerous driving and three counts of disqualified driving.

The 32-year-old was arrested on the warrant and held for bail at Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters.

Also on Monday afternoon, a woman was arrested on a warrant for failing to attend and two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Police located the woman after attending a call on Lacroix Street in Chatham. The 27-year-old was taken to police headquarters for booking and held for bail.

Lastly, on Monday night, an officer was dispatched to a call in the area of Blythewood Crescent in Chatham. While there, the officer identified a man who was known to be wanted on a warrant for assault and four counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

The 43-year-old was taken into police custody and held for bail.
