Six puppies stolen during break and enter

Police were called to respond to a break-in on Brook Line on Saturday.

Officers reported that an unknown person(s) entered the home taking various electronics and six Yorkshire Terrier puppies. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Traffic complaint leads to impaired driving charges

Officers received a complaint regarding a vehicle driving in the area of Park Avenue West on Saturday afternoon.

Police located the vehicle shortly after and initiated a traffic stop. The 54-year-old male driver was arrested after he failed a sobriety test and transported to police headquarters for further testing.

The man was charged and released with a future court date.

Officers respond to suspicious fire

Police were called to a business on Riverview Drive for a fire just before 6 a.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, heavy smoke and flames were observed near the loading dock. The fire was extinguished and there did not appear to be any significant damage to the business.
