Two Chatham residents are facing charges after police found some suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine during a drug bust Tuesday night.
Chatham-Kent police said officers with the Intelligence Section and the Critical Incident Response Team executed the search warrant at a residence in Chatham and found approximately $28,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Officers also allegedly found some stolen property in the home.
As a result of the investigation, 30-year-old Brandon Hubbarth and 27-year-old Joel Benoit -- both from Park Avenue in Chatham -- were each charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both of the accused were later released with a future court date. At this point, none of the allegations have been proven in court.
