Several train crossings in downtown Chatham that were closed down Tuesday morning after a serious train collision have now re-opened.
Chatham-Kent police said King Street and William Street will remain closed as Chatham-Kent police continue their investigation of the incident.
Police said emergency crews were called around 6 a.m. on Tuesday after a "serious train crash" took place near William Street. CP rail crossings between Adelaide Street and Jeffery Street in Chatham were closed as a result but they have since re-opened.
