Damage is estimated at $180,000 after a fire sparked at a home in Chatham on Monday morning.
Fire officials said crews from two different stations were called to a house at 24 Brock St., shortly after 10 a.m.
There was heavy smoke in the area as a result of the blaze, however, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but is being investigated by Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services.
Luckily, no injuries were reported.
