Tilbury's Brett Brochu is having himself quite a season with the London Knights.
The 17-year-old rookie netminder has been named the OHL Goaltender of the Month for the second time in a row after racking up seven wins in eight games in February. He also led all netminders with a 2.36 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage during that stretch.
In addition to being named the league's top goaltender again, Brochu won his 29th game of the season on February 28, setting a new franchise record for the London Knights for the most wins by a rookie goaltender in team history. Ryan MacDonald held the previous record at 28 in the 2003-2004 season.
Brochu currently ranks third in the league with a 2.50 goals-against average on the season with a .918 save percentage and two shutouts through 39 games.
A former Dresden Jr. King, Brochu is also eligible for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft in June.
