Police find fentanyl, cocaine during traffic stop in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police have arrested two accused drug dealers from Blenheim.

Police said they made the arrests after finding methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and cash on two people during a traffic stop on Raleigh Street in Chatham early Wednesday morning.

Officers said the estimated street value of the drugs they seized was $2,500.

A 27-year-old Blenheim man and a 44-year-old Blenheim man are now charged with drug possession, possession of cannabis for the purposes of selling, and two counts of possession for the purposes of drug trafficking.

They were both later released with conditions and a future court date.
