Maroons visit Lincolns in St. Marys

The Chatham Maroons are making the long trip out to St. Marys for the third and final time during the regular season Friday night.

But the way the standings are shaping up right now, these two teams could be seeing a lot more of each other come playoff time.

With 12 games left on the schedule, the Lincolns are sitting firmly in third place with 51 points while the Maroons are in sixth with 37 points with 13 games remaining. If those positions hold up, the Maroons would line up with St. Marys for a first-round playoff matchup.

The Lincolns have won three of their four meetings with Chatham so far this season, with two of those wins taking place at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.

The Maroons are coming off of an 11-4 loss to London on Sunday while the Lincolns fell to the Sarnia Legionnaires in overtime Thursday night 5-4.

You can hear tonight’s game on-air on Country 92.9FM/ 630 AM CFCO or online by clicking here.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
