The officer tried to stop the vehicle but the teen allegedly refused to pull over and instead drove home. The 15-year-old was arrested and charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and flight from police.

Wanted man found

A cyclist stopped for not having a proper light early Friday morning is now in even more trouble with the law.

Police said the 31-year-old Wallaceburg man was stopped in the area of Herbert Street and Gillard Street. As it turns out, he had been wanted for fraud-related offences, failing to comply with his release conditions, obstructing police, and failing to attend court.

The 31-year-old was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing. -------------

Chatham man accused of following two men

A 19-year-old Chatham man is facing charges for allegedly being in contact with people he shouldn't have.

Police said the 19-year-old had been given several conditions after being released from custody earlier this month. One of the conditions was to stay away from two Tilbury men.

However, it's alleged the 19-year-old had been following the two from Tilbury while they were driving around Chatham on Thursday. They called police and drove to their headquarters where officers were waiting to take the Chatham man into custody. He's now charged with two counts of failing to comply.
