Maroons head to Leamington looking for first win of 2020

The Chatham Maroons will try to break out of a two-game losing skid in Leamington Thursday night as they take on the second-place Flyers.

The Maroons ended 2019 on a winning note, but they've lost both of their games in 2020, falling to St. Marys and Komoka to start the new year.

And they'll face a tough test in Leamington, up against the Flyers who have won two in a row and have picked up points in six of their last seven games.

Recent history will be on Chatham's side -- the last time the Flyers lost in regulation was on Sunday, December 8 in Chatham. The Maroons won that game 6-4.

The last time the two teams met in Leamington, though, the Flyers came back from a 6-1 deficit in the third period to beat the Maroons in double overtime 7-6.

You can hear tonight’s game on-air on Country 92.9FM / 630 AM CFCO or online by clicking here.

Puck drop is set for 7:10 p.m.
