A wind warning that was issued for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Rondeau Park and Leamington has ended.
Environment Canada issued the initial warning on Sunday because the forecasts were calling for "southwest wind gusts of 90 km/h... possible close to the shore of Lake Erie."
Wind gusts are still expected to reach 70 kilometres per hour throughout the day.
Drivers should still be prepared to adjust driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
