Wanted man arrested in Chatham

A 27-year-old Chatham man wanted on an outstanding warrant for robbery and failing to comply with his probation has been arrested.

Police said he was found at a Chatham residence on Monday while officers were responding to an unrelated matter.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Utility vehicle stolen in Morpeth

Officers are trying to track down a 2011 orange Kubota RTV900 that had been reported stolen in the Morpeth area.

The utility vehicle was parked at a residence on Talbot Trail on Monday when the theft happened. The vehicle is worth approximately $15,000.

Police said it has black roll bars and a dump box on the back. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-436-6600 ext. 85018 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Man accused of driving with a suspended licence

A traffic stop in Chatham has resulted in charges for a 31-year-old man.

Police said the driver allegedly had a suspended licence when he was caught behind the wheel on Monday. The 31-year-old had also been wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaching his recognizance.

He was taken to police headquarters to be processed and then taken to bail court.
