Industrial accident in Ridgetown
The Ministry of Labour is now taking the lead in an investigation into an industrial accident in Ridgetown.
Chatham-Kent police said emergency crews were called to the scene on Golf Course Line at around midnight Monday.
A 56-year-old man suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Breaching conditions leads to multiple arrests
When you're released from police custody with conditions, you better obey them -- or else you could find yourself back behind bars. That's what happened in each of the following three cases locally.
Chatham-Kent police said a 27-year-old man who was released last month was supposed to stop talking with a specific family member and was ordered to stay away from her residence.
Police said they arrested the man again Monday afternoon after learning that the man had shown up at the woman's home and started an argument with her. Officers said when they showed up, he was still standing outside of the residence yelling at the woman.
The accused was arrested, charged with failing to comply with his release conditions, and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
In a second case, officers arrested a 32-year-old Chatham man who was released from custody last month with several conditions including one that required him to sign in at police headquarters every Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Officers said the man missed his opportunity to do that last week Thursday, so when police caught up with him on Monday, they arrested him, charged him with failing to comply, and took him into custody pending a bail hearing.
In a third case, Chatham-Kent police arrested a 37-year-old woman who was allegedly breaching one of her release conditions by associating with a man she had been ordered to stay away from.
Police said they caught up with her at around 11:30 p.m. Monday after getting a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Queens Line and Merlin Road. Officers pulled the vehicle over just west of Dillon Road and found the woman inside along with a man she wasn't supposed to hang out with.
She was arrested, charged with failing to comply, and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Four wanted persons arrested
Four people who were wanted for a variety of offences ranging from a gas and dash to drug trafficking were arrested on Monday.
Chatham-Kent police said they arrested a 33-year-old Chatham man who made it to their Wanted List at around 10 p.m. Monday. He was accused of failing to comply with his release conditions, possession for the purposes of trafficking, breach of probation and failing to attend court. After he was arrested, the man was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
In a second case, OPP arrested a 26-year-old man Monday morning who was wanted in connection with a gas and dash in Wallaceburg earlier this month while he was allegedly in possession of a stolen truck. He was transported back to Chatham-Kent for court purposes and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
In a third case, a 39-year-old man who was wanted by Lambton OPP was arrested in Chatham Monday morning. He was turned over to OPP for court purposes.
And in a fourth case, a 37-year-old Dresden man wanted in connection with a criminal harassment investigation was arrested Monday afternoon. The accused was charged with three counts of criminal harassment, three counts of conveying a false message, and three counts of uttering threats. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
