Woman kicks officers after they find stolen shoes
A 25-year-old Chatham woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing some kicks and then kicking two officers.
She's also accused of sharing intimate images without consent.
Police said they showed up at the woman's residence shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday after getting a 911 hang-up call from her cell phone.
While the officers were checking on her well-being, they allegedly spotted a pair of shoes that were stolen from Sport Check earlier this week.
When the officers went to arrest the woman, she allegedly kicked both of them and resisted arrest. While police were investigating, they also learned that the woman was accused of distributing some intimate images without consent and criminal harassment.
She was arrested and charged and was set to be released with conditions and a future court date.

Another farm accident
For the second time in a week, Chatham-Kent police were called to a farm accident.
The first one was on Communication Road in Blenheim Sunday afternoon -- the most recent call was on Bloomfield Road in Chatham Wednesday afternoon.
Officers said a 34-year-old man who was working at a farm was taken to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The Ministry of Labour has been notified and has taken over the investigation.

Wanted woman arrested after foot chase
A tipster helped police track down a wanted woman in Wallaceburg on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said they received some information that a woman who was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions, failing to attend court, and shoplifting at Walmart in Chatham was in the area of a residence on Chestnut Drive.
When officers showed up, the woman allegedly took off running. Police were able to catch up with her a short time later and arrested her.
She was arrested and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Suspicious cyclist arrested in Chatham
The law has caught up with a 29-year-old Chatham man who was wanted for breaching his probation.
Police said they found the man while they were responding to a call about a suspicious person riding a bicycle in the area of Howard Road and Manning Road in Chatham Wednesday night.
The accused was arrested and later released with a future court date.

Annual CKPS / Salvation Army Toy Drive
Chatham-Kent police are collecting toys and gift cards for children aged newborn to 12 years old. They will be donated to the Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent for distribution.
You can drop off unwrapped toy donations at the following locations:
- Police Headquarters in Chatham
- Wallaceburg Service Centre
- Blenheim Service Centre
- Ridgetown Service Centre
The donations will be accepted from now until November 30, 2019.
