A 30-year-old Chatham man has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a disturbance outside of a bar in downtown Chatham.
Police said the incident took place in the area of King Street and 4th Street over the last weekend of September.
Officers said through their investigation, they learned that a 23-year-old Chatham man suffered serious injuries and police were able to identify a suspect.
He was arrested Tuesday morning, charged, and taken to the courthouse pending a bail hearing.
