The Blenheim Blades have parted ways with head coach Scott Teron and assistant Kent Hamilton and have hired Blenheim native Brett Hope.
Hope spent two years as an assistant coach with the Chatham Maroons in the GOJHL before stepping down earlier this year. He also played for the Maroons and the St. Thomas Stars before playing college and professional hockey in the U.S.
His brother Shawn will be joining him as an assistant coach. Shawn played for the Blades and the Wheatley Sharks.
Blades assistant coach Ryan Paxton is staying on with the team.
Their first game behind the bench will be Sunday, November 3 when the Blades host the Amherstburg Admirals.
